I am the Deputy Consul General of China in Toronto. This is my third official posting abroad, following my bilateral and multilateral experiences in the Chinese Embassy in Paris and the Chinese Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. This is my first time to work in the Chinese Consul General abroad, which I find very different from my previous postings.
During my tenure of office in Toronto, I have worked along with my colleagues in the Chinese Consulate to strengthen the strategic partnership between China and Canada in the political, economic, trade, cultural and educational fields. Recent years have seen remarkable improvement in the friendly relations and cooperation between our two countries.
I would like to thank Shannon for providing me with this opportunity. I hope that this would contribute to enhancing the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and the Canadian people.
