Laura Harris is the owner of a Nurse Next Door Home Care franchise in Toronto, a leading provider of reliable, affordable and compassionate in-home senior care and concierge service. Laura brought to Nurse Next Door over 32 years of combined healthcare, hospitality and business experience. Laura began her career as a registered nurse in Toronto where she earned the position of Team Leader for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She then began operating Stadium Hostessing Services Inc. which, over the past 20 years, has grown to be Toronto’s largest hostessing company providing over 200 hosts at the Rogers Centre to VIP areas and clients in corporate suites. In 1991, Laura was honored as one of Toronto’s top “Women on the Move,” an annual salute to enterprising women. Laura is also the president of Maguire Model and Talent Management, but, most important is Laura’s passion for making a difference. With current resources across Greater Toronto stretched, Laura hopes to alleviate the burden placed on existing care options, including family caregivers, with her Nurse Next Door Home Care Services.
