Kaitlyn is a Toronto-born producer, television personality, and expert in the history of woman’s sexuality. She is currently producing the feature documentary “Tempest Storm: Burlesque Queen”, set to hit theaters in 2014 and is a PhD candidate in performance and women’s sexuality at King’s College London. She is internationally published, continues to give talks and teach workshops about women’s history and sexuality, and is called upon as an expert and pop-culture personality by numerous media outlets throughout Europe and Canada. Kaitlyn starred as a co-host and burlesque expert on the popular Slice Network (Canada) and Bio Network (UK) television series Re-Vamped, in which she used historical beauty ideals to help women “revamp” their mojo. The show continues to be broadcast internationally. Kaitlyn also produces content, often based on her research, in a variety of mediums. An example of this is the vintage pin-up calendar featuring breast cancer survivors, “Pink Ribbon Pin-Ups”. This calendar, which allows women to explore their femininity post-mastectomy, was sold nationally in over 200 Safeway stores, and helped to raise $2,000,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Kaitlyn’s background includes training in Moscow at the Moscow Art Theater and in Russian physical theater at Harvard University. Kaitlyn has a joint Master’s Degree from Britain’s world-renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and King’s College London.
