I am honoured and thrilled to announce that I am joining the Board of Directors of Sampradaya Dance Creations, a highly regarded arts organization that is at the forefront of South Asian dance in Canada. India and its culture is deep in my heart, which began long before my visit there this past April. In my new role, I will be be an Ambassador for the organization. Considering I am a lover of the arts, this fits beautifully in my life. I am particularly excited to be working closely with the highly acclaimed and talented Lata Pada, who founded this organization years ago.
We can only appreciate different cultures when we make a choice to experience them. Dance is a great way to do that.
