With over 10 years experience in marketing and advertising, Anissa Holmes is a motivated and fashionable young mompreneur and co-founder of Toronto-based event-staffing company Iris Blu. Anissa has a background in professional acting and modeling and has over a dozen playboy features and 3 playboy covers under her belt.
As an actor, she appeared in two feature films, an HBO series, multiple commercials and landed over 30 international magazine features.
While working for the Commission of Ontario’s Financial Services department, Anissa honed her business skills that have become invaluable assets to her today as a business owner and entrepreneur working in the entertainment industry.
Becoming a mother inspired Anissa to start her own blog “The Modish Mom,” which she launched while pregnant. Anissa spent the last year focusing on business and event planning for Iris Blu and she is now working on a new design for the blog, to re-launch later this year.
