Angelica Lisk-Haan is one of Canada's top female stunt performers whose credits include Jumper, Kojack, Sacrifice and Total Recall. Her mother was a model of Dutch and Spanish decent, her father an African-American professional football player and her uncle a professional stock car and motorcycle racer. Angelica excelled at every sport imaginable as a child and teenager. Athlete of the year most every year. Her mother fought to keep her in dance and modelling, but all Angelica wanted to do was beat boys at sports and get dirty. She moved away from her small town of Trenton, Ontario when she was scouted by a track and field coach to move to Toronto and train for the 1988 Olympic Games. He was blown away as she ran the 100m and broke the previous record, set by herself the year before. Finished up to win the long jump and then broke the Ontario record in the high jump all in a matter of 15min. When in the big city, and after being told by a new coach she would now have to start using steriods to insure her place as a top Heptathalete, she reluctantly quit track and immediatly was drawn to the arts. After booking a few commercials, dancing in videos and small acting roles, as well as singing in the popular group Simply Majestic. Angelica was introduced to the world of stunts in 1997 by top Canadian Stunt Co-ordinator Branko Racki, while playing a henchwoman in the movie Half Baked. This was the perfect fit for her and she has now secured her place as the top black female stunt performer in Canada and Europe.
