Darrelle London is a Canadian singer/songwriter who listens to her heart. Her new CD, "Eat A Peach" (Bandwidth/EMI), described as whimsical, has the industry buzzing. The lead single, "Fine," is playing on radio stations across the country, and Darrelle was named Bell Emerging Artist for May 2012. She has made appearances on eTalk, Canada AM, and morning shows across the country. Darrelle’s journey to this exciting moment in time has involved much personal dedication to her craft, and a little help from some unexpected supporters along the way, such as celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
London’s unique voice and playful songs have also caught the attention of fellow Canadian, Chantal Kreviazuk. The two met in 2010 and wrote three songs for Darrelle’s new album, one of which Kreviazuk produced and sang backing vocals on. Of her sessions with Darrelle, Kreviazuk says, “she sings from her heart, and her gentle unique approach to music is so special, it is a pleasure to be immersed in.”
