… First and foremost, I believe that life is infinitely easier and more enjoyable, when you become a great leader of YOURSELF, your own thoughts, your own actions and your own outcomes. This is what we have the most influence over too… wouldn’t you agree?
Think about the mentors and leaders in your life. Who inspires you most? Who moves you to action? Is it one that ‘tells’ you what you need to do, or is the one that ‘models’ that in their own life? Is it the one that communicates with understanding, compassion and respect – as if they truly have ‘walked in your shoes’?
We all have the opportunity, and I believe the ability, to lead in many areas of our lives. Once we are clear about who we are and what we need to work on in our own journey first, we can then help others do the same – whether guiding or encouraging a client, colleague, friend or child (and we can do it from a much healthier place).
Far too many people put the cart before the horse, and attempt to lead others before they have their own path worked out. It’s not to say that it can’t be done. However, what often arises is added frustration and confusion – and although, confusion’ is often a ‘state of learning’– I also know that with some patience and wisdom, we can soften the edges of our learning with better choices.
Consider the commonality between many of the Great Leaders that I know and admire:
•They are clear about who they are and who they are not (and they are ‘good’ with that)
•They have ‘their’ priorities straight and they live and work with ‘integrity’ – making choices for the greater good, not always for the ‘greater dollar’
•They influence through others, and affect a positive and inspiring ripple wherever they go
•They look for ways to elevate others and share the credit (or give it away when it seems right)
•Their success in life and work is measurable and sustainable
•They’re intuitive, resilient, present-focused and courageous
•They only compare themselves to others, for inspiration, motivation and growth
•They’re a student of life, embracing all the beauty and imperfections … and the trials and tribulations, having faith that there is a seed of learning in every experience – to enrich our lives ‘and’ the lives of others
I encourage you to:
•Be present and quiet when you need to be
•Be strong in your convictions
•Clear about what matters most to you
•Take others with you on your journey
•… & ACT ON ALL ‘YOUR POSSIBILITIES’

Carolyn is one of the most loving, caring, compassionate and driven person I have ever met. Her charming personality and love for others is what attracts people to Carolyn everywhere she goes. She is a phenomenal woman with a great appreciation for life.
I have personally had many character building experiences, in my life time more than I care to admit but I wanted to share one in particular with you today.
In case you were curious…. I am great at sales, I have my own business, and I am one of the top trainers for the company I am affiliated with. I am an Independent Luxury Consultant for a Top Canadian Designer company. I am also a Life Coach supporting other people in reaching their dreams. Among all the great dreams that I sought out to have, I attracted a loving man who supports me, a great family life, an unbelievable daughter and am expecting our second child in July. Through many blessings in my life I have come to realize that the only person that can make someone else’s words mean something in your life is you. Life is filled with lessons and challenges it is up to you what you make of them. As many challenges as life has given me I am now able to say thank you, as I would not be who I am today if I had not had those experiences.

It is my honor to introduce you to my loving, caring, compassionate, dedicated and loyal friend, Vivienne Kamp
My journey of helping those less fortunate started at a very young age. Every Christmas and New Year’s day my family would invite 2 young orphans to spend the day with us as a family. Since my dad was a chef he used to prepare special food which the orphans enjoyed so much. We used to have so much fun together and the happiest moment was when we opened our Christmas presents, we had presents for the orphans too and I will never forget the look on their face when they opened their own presents. Even though I was very young I knew it meant a lot for the orphans to be around a family.
In my teenage years my sister and I joined a volunteer group. We used to visit the old people in hospital and the mental hospital every week. Our visit meant a lot to the people we visited and they used to wait for us every week. It made them feel very happy as most of them didn’t have any family relatives or friends visiting them which was really sad. We also visited the orphanage and helped the nuns with whatever needed like cleaning and cooking when we were not playing with the children.
In my early twenties I got the opportunity to go and volunteer with the Sisters of Mother Teresa in India for 7 weeks. It was the best time of my life – my favorite place to volunteer was “Kalighat” the house for the dying and destitute. These people knew they were dying yet they were always happy, always with a smile and at peace and never complained about the pain they were going through. My most unforgettable moment in India was when I met Mother Teresa – that day was the happiest day of my life which I will never forget for the rest of my life. I received special blessing from her – an act that I will carry in my heart forever. My experience in India has changed my life completely – life is too short , not to take anything for granted and that God put me in this world to make a difference in someone’s life!
My biggest challenge in life was when I migrated from Malta to the USA with my family in 2001. The USA is very far from Malta and I didn’t know when I will see my family back in Malta again?! The beginning was very hard. The first year and a half we lived in California – I was taking care of my husband’s grandmother who had Alzheimer, had 4 little girls ages 3, 4, 6 and 7 years of age. No car – we lived in the Lancaster (Mohave Desert) and my husband had a travelling job. Although it was not easy the experience has made me a stronger person. I knew God was with me all the time and never, ever felt alone!!
Because of my husband’s travelling job I was challenged once again to move to Texas. The first year we lived in Bastrop and then we moved to Midlothian where we still live up to this day!! Moving to Texas wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. My family and I adapted very well. Right away I volunteered my time at school and at church and made new friends wherever I went. Today I am involved as a Eucharist Minister for people I visit at nursing homes. I have been doing this for 4 years now. I am also involved in the ProLife group where I go and pray in front of an abortion center and try to help women from doing an abortion and yes I am proud to say that I have changed some women’s mind and saved some babies!!!
I am also passionate about health and endorse a product called JuicePlus+ which my family and I have been taking for 13 years. When my family and I moved to the USA, I did not want us to fall into the trap of the American diet. I was reminded of the scriptures Hosea 4: 6 ” My people perish for lack of knowledge “. I knew in my heart I would be sharing JuicePlus+ with everyone because no one eats enough fruits and vegetables every day. Even though I grew up eating healthy, adding JuicePlus+ to my diet was the best thing I ever did for myself. JuicePlus+ is now my health insurance for a quality of life.
If you want to know how you can have 17 raw fruits and vegetables a day. Ask Vivienne!!!

Thank you Vivienne for all that you do and for being a blessing in my life and many others. I love, honor and appreciate you.

Whatever you give to life, it gives you back.
Do not hate anybody.
The hatred which comes out from you will someday come back to you.
Love others. And love comes back to you.
For everything you have missed, you have gained something else;
And for everything you have gained, you lose something else.
It is all about your outlook towards life. You can either reject or rejoice.
Arrow goes forward only after pulling it backward.
Bullet goes forward only after pressing the trigger backward.
Every human being will get happy
Only after facing difficulties in their path…
So do not be afraid to face your difficulties.
They will push you forward.
Remember you were born to live.
Don’t live because you are born!
Don’t go the way life takes you…
Take life the way you go!
What we are today is a result of our past actions;
Whatever we wish to be in the future depends on our present actions;
Decide how you have to act NOW!
We are responsible for what we are, whatever we wish ourselves to be.
We have the power to make ourselves.
The most difficult phase of life
Is not when one understands you;
It is when you don’t understand yourself.

Aside from many of Colleen’s great accomplishments she is one of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. Her warm personality and love for helping others has driven Colleen to be the incredible, charming and successful woman that she is today.
It is my honour to introduce you to my dear friend, Collen Lindberg.
Colleen Lindberg, was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Seeing her parents struggle in life while growing up, she always knew that if she wanted something different she would have to go out and get it. Her passion at a young age was helping people and this became the focal point of her life. Looking back on her life today, Colleen is grateful for all the heart-ache, the challenges and more so the steep growth curve. Without all of this her life today would not have been possible. Colleen is who she is today because of the adversity she has overcome.
At the age of 12, Colleen developed her first business. She became the most sought out babysitter in her area. There was a never a family too big or a child too challenging for this girl. She already knew at this age what it was going to take to make it in this world…. Work ethic and commitment came naturally to her. Through many challenges and many people telling her she wouldn’t amount to anything, Colleen continued on this journey, knowing that she would have to fight for everything she wanted in life.
Coming out of high school Colleen went to the University of Manitoba where she got the education that started her fitness career. She became a personal trainer and a fitness instructor, developing her second business in this industry. Colleen was motivated to assist people in reaching their health goals while relieving stress and having fun at the same time. Struggling with her own health challenges Colleen persisted in helping others and in turn helped herself. Colleen worked for many gyms and contracted her services out, but always knew that there had to be something more, she couldn’t teach fitness classes forever.
She tried working for many companies, in all different industries and nothing seemed to fit right. So Colleen ventured out into the world and found many opportunities and many businesses to be apart of. Throughout the years, Colleen has started and helped run numerous businesses including businesses in the internet marketing industry, the hospitality industry, the printing industry, the wealth management industry, and the retail industry. She also was hired on to consult in numerous personal development and seminar companies, health and wellness companies and some network marketing businesses.
Through much experience and of course trial error, Colleen has established a successful business consulting and coaching practice, where she currently helps individuals, teams and businesses get the results that they are looking for. Creating synergistic teams and more profitability are some of the specialties that Colleen offers her clients. She believes that once people can truly understand themselves, then they can become the best of who they are in whatever aspect of life they are focused in. Colleen’s mission in life is to help as many people as she can, understand themselves, create wealth and live a joy-filled peaceful life.
Colleen would love to speak with you contact her at www.clindbergconsulting.com
Thank you Colleen for ALL that you do and for your beautiful contribution to our world.
